We are, and have passed, the last time we've seen each other. I miss you brother. I wish we were closer, but it took awhile to  put those words together. You are the genuine article. The person we all aspire to be... we will continue on the path knowing you've helped make a lasting imprint. We think of you often and miss you . Fragile Future

Our prayers and condolences go out to Jerry's family.  Today and always, I will remember Jerry, as my cool and older cousin in California – the one who made us laugh, had an incredible smile and a great story to share. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity recently to see you again in person in El Paso. It's as though God brought you to us one more time, and for that, we feel blessed. We will miss you in life, but not in our hearts where you will forever remain. Today, our only comfort is knowing that you are in a better place, so can you please tell God one of your stories and put in a good word for the rest of us? The Alcantar family will love you always.

Dad I'm missing you so much I can't believe your gone I was the luckiest little girl to have you and even more blessed to have you as a friend/dad as a women you taught me so much and showed me and your girls so much love I will always be missing you wishing you were with me or waiting for your call to have a 3 hour conversation just about life I love you sooo much.

When we think of Jerry, what comes to mind is his laughter, beautiful smile and big bear hug. When he hugged you, you knew it came with a lot of love. We feel so blessed to have been part of his life and family. We are still in shock and still speak of him every day. Our love, prayers and thoughts are with his entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jerry. I am still in shock myself as I am sure everyone is. Jerry was so full of life which makes it even harder to understand his passing. He was one of the kindest and sweetest persons you could ever know. He always had a big hug for you and a smile on his face that you couldn't forget. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family.

I only met you once and your were a very kind man.  Rest in peace.

We could hardly believe the news of Jerry's passing, he was so full of love and life.  Our sincere heartfelt sorrow for your family's loss of a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  Our love and prayers for each one of you!

Jerry, everyday it seems so unreal that we will not hear your voice again. I enjoyed looking at my phone and the name Jerry Hickman would show up. I will miss our long conversations catching up and making plans to visit. You were so full of life and love and are sorely being missed. We love you cousin.
