Born on September 7, 1988, in Riverside, CA, to Fernando and Anna Noriega of Chino Hills, CA, Javier's life was a testament to love and dedication. After graduating from Ayala High School in Chino Hills in 2006, he proudly enlisted and served in the Army from October 2006 to December 2013, with deployment tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Javier’s service was marked by numerous commendations, including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, the Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with two awards, the Army Achievement Medal, the NATO Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award). His dedication to excellence and leadership was further reflected in his extensive training, including specialties in Military Police, Military Police Investigator School, and Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operation.
Javier's memory will forever be cherished by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved siblings: Antoinette Grajeda and her husband Jose of California; Gaspare Longo of Arizona; Joey Longo and his wife Brittany of Arizona; and Fernando Noriega IV of Oregon. He also leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew, all of whom he adored.
Javier will be remembered for his unwavering love and commitment to his family and his remarkable bravery and strength in serving his country.
Graveside services will be held on June 20, 2024, at Riverside Memorial at 12:30 PM, followed by a celebration of his life at Western Hills Country Club in Chino Hills.
