I will miss you....

It is said with age comes wisdom, & that was true with you. I will cherish what you told us (me & my husband) the last time I saw you. My childhood is filled with memories at your house in La Puente. To my tia Irene & my cousins, there no words I can possibly say to ease this time. Your family is in my prayers & I love you.

I couldn’t have asked for a better father-in-law or grandfather for my kids. The love  that you showed them is something they will never forget. You always took the time to call me and see how the kids and I were doing. I am going to miss those phone calls. Your absence leaves a void that will never be replaced. You will be missed everyday until we meet again. 

Dear Tio Hermino , I want to tell you we're very Loved by my Family!  I will truly miss you Tio.    I lot of good memories at the house La Puente we shared running around roaster also that dog "Lobo  " that dog was scary also party's .But I really know and Love there is a heaven past high up in sky you smiling down !  I was Blessed to have you as Uncle !  1 of many things I can share is that you bought my first stereo I was so HAPPY. A caring man I Will truly miss you 💞😢  .. Love Esthersita

How can I even start ? Where can I even start ? The first pain I truly felt was when I first left out of state just the thoughts of not being thier with my grandfather got tears pouring down my eyes.. I thought I was fine then the flashbacks came of you when I will always wait for you everyday to come home from work staring out the window waiting for you to appear then get all happy and cheerful when you finally shown up, always with your 12 pack of beer and snacks for your Gordo and Chaparro then go in the back with the Roosters..  nothing could of prepared me for this moment you were gone too soon but I know you will always look over me you were always our protecter, I will always appreciate the time you invested in me and things you try to show me to be a better strong man, theirs so much more I can say but everyone knew  how much of a Genuine, Tough, Kind-hearted person my grandpa was and his legacy will always live on through our heart!..

To my papá,

I am in disbelief and heartbroken that you had to leave us. I knew you were tired and I know you tried your very best to stay with us.. I guess I’m just selfish and hoped that you stayed a little longer. I just want you to know that I loved you with all my heart. Thanks for showing me how to be a man with dignity and honor and most importantly kindness...I will always try to pass this along to others in your honor. Things will never be the same now that your gone. I wish I could call you one last time and hear your voice and I will miss your humor most of all. 

I still remember the day that you told me to be strong and not to cry when I had to see my mom in the hospital, you told me.. “No tengas miedo, yo estoy aqui”. I hope that your still near me and can hear me...especially when I’m scared or alone and even when I can smile again. 

This is the hardest goodbye that I will ever have to do, but know this.. I will think of you everyday until we’re together again. I love you Dad.

Grandpa, we are so thankful for all the memories we got to create with you. Going over to your house as kids was our favorite. Running around in your backyard with all your animals and playing between the chicken coupes. Every phonecall recieved you never hesitated to ask how we were all doing. Thank you for all the love you gave us throughout the years. We are gonna miss you so much ! “You’re loved beyond measure. You’re missed in so many ways. We are going to miss a great friend!!!  Herminio brought such laughter and joy to our workplace .  He would come with such funny stories to tell and also he was so caring, he would always ask about our mom to make sure she was in good health.  Herminio  loved his family so much,  and was always expressing his love for them, he adored his wife.  We have been so blessed to have known Herminio and  have such great memories that will last a lifetime..we will miss you greatly!!!!!!  Your family at Mira Loma Feed

I’m going to miss you grandpa and going to the store with you when you used to eat the grapes to see if they were good or that time we took you to the store and you stole a candy bar, i’m going to miss your visits and your phone calls everyday asking me how i was doing.

The only uncle who would have time to call me everyday just to see what i was doing! love you Tio Herminio 

My Dad recorded memories so we wouldn’t forget and I’m thankful that he did because one of my last memories with you Tio was going to your house to give you the video from that Christmas 1986 at your house, those were the days! You outside with your roosters and a huge smile. I hadn’t come over in so long and yet you greeted me with open arms and just like my grandpa, you asked do you want something to drink are you thirsty. You met my little wild one that day Tristan and the doggy bit his butt and you laughed and you told Tristan go get that dog !Later you would ask me how is he? how’s his butt! I don’t know why but that was the funniest memory and I won’t forget it! You were genuine you were real and never held anything back thank you for that! The memories never leave and our childhood was full of them! 

“Luu-chi-A” was how my tio called me, Great memories you left in our hearts to cherish tio Herminio. You had a big heart, and you were so kind and loving. I’m glad I convince you to take this photo after you treated us out, and that I got to take you to breakfast at my favorite restaurant the last time I saw you. We had a long touching conversation that I will forever greatly appreciate. Thankful for all the love you had for the Talavera family.  You will be deeply missed, We love you dearly and until we meet again. 


How do you say goodbye? What are the right words to say? Words could never express how valuable you were in my life. Its the hardest thing to believe that your gone but i know your not in pain anymore. You meant so much to so many..you helped so many..and loved ur family more than anything. The morning i got the text saying my x father in law passed away. 😭 my heart is in so much pain and disbelief. He didnt deserve this..he was such a loving man that was always there for me even after i wasnt with his son. I can still see him chasing the kids in the back..raising his pride roosters. You will be truly missed Herminio Roman thank you for being there like a father for me ill treasure my last hug from u forever i love u dad..till we meet again😭🙏
