Josh, Ana, and the entire Juarez family - I am deeply sorry for the pain you must be going through. Take comfort on all the wonderful memories you have of Helen. May be her memory be eternal. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Tia Chatita, you touched my Heart  and my whole Family. Yes you were very Loved by my husband Gilbert. You were the only Mom that he will remember. You taught him, and his siblings a lot after they lost their own Mom.

Josh, Ana and family.  My love and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  The lessons and love that she showed you are reflected in the loving way you treat others.  The care, respect, and honor you showed her was inspiring, and leaves no doubt that she will be with you always.  Much love from your east coast family.

Grandma, when you passed away everyone told me how fortunate you were to have had a dedicated grandson and family who made sure you were comfortable, well taken care of, and not forgotten as you aged.  They were consoling words and helped me as my own self-doubt kicked in wondering if I had done enough, said enough, visited you enough, and comforted you during your final days.

I knew these feeling were familiar, I saw you deal with them after your mom, Grandma Luy, passed away after years of immobility and ill-health.  The doubt you had was natural because it was a result of you being such a dedicated daughter.  It's akin to checking your work before submitting it or measuring twice before cutting something.  You see, as I grow older I realize that dedication is something you learn, you are not born with it, and, Grandma, you had so much of it.  Your dedication to family, friends, and community was immeasurably abundant.  Your life long dedication to your mother, a nearly 60 year marriage to a war hero with PTSD, enduring the pain of miscarriages until you bore your only child, or stepping in with out question to care for and raise your grandchildren, you did it all with grace, a smile, and most importantly love.

Grandma, you left no doubt that what you did for you family, friends, and community was done without reservation.  You made no stipulation nor conditions.  You did all what you did in life with a full heart and a clear conscience.  It is what you taught me, it is what made you so beloved, and what your loved ones will miss the most.  Rest In Peace, Grandma, your dedication, love, kindness and caring will live on more than you will ever know.
