Age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2012. Gerry was born on August 19, 1920 in Hanna, Indiana. She was a resident of Riverside, California for 59 years. Gerry worked as a Library Clerk at the La Sierra Branch Library for over 30 years until her retirement in 1997. She is probably best known by La Sierra-area residents as the “little librarian on the bicycle.”
Gerry is survived by her son David (Penny) of Riverside and her daughter, Robin (Bill) Bourbonnais of Riverside. She is survived by her five grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Karen, Victoria, and Emily.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Avenue in Riverside. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, and a Memorial Service to follow at
11:00 AM.
