Betsy and Raleigh Barber in Jericho New Jersey. She had 4 siblings, Brother Bobby, Brother Bing, sister Marry and Little sister Harriet. Frances Lived in New Jersey with her parents until her mother's passing, she then moved in with her Grandmother Emma Simmonson. Mrs Emma was very instrumental in Frances's life. Frances resided with her Grandmother, Mrs Emma, until she passed at the age of 115. Frances had 12 children, Donald (wife Thomasina), Harriet (husband David), Emma Jean, Garry (wife Thelrene), Larry (wife Lillye), Toni (Benny), William (wife Maria), April (husband Julian), Robin (husband Eric), Penny ( husband Kurt), Roni (husband Parneal), Theresa (husband Myronn), 31 Grandchildren and 45 Great Grandchildren. She resided in the Inland Empire for over 60 years. She followed her passion as a seamstress, eventually owning her own business as a tailor along side her husband Edward Larry Gordon. Mother continued her passion into retirement, even up to a month before passing. She was known as Mommy, Mom, Fanny, GG and sometimes as Frances. She was always one to speak her mind, never wanting to offend, but to be honest & sincere. Mother was very loving and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was very nurturing and loving to more then just her children. Frances enjoyed all family gatherings and love to travel on the Grey Hound bus.
We will always cherish our memories and moments we all were blessed to have with her, whither 1 on 1 or as a family. We all have that very special moment to hold on to as we continue to live our lives in her HONOR.
