Florence was born on December 12, 1927 in Dersingham, Norfolk, England. She was born as Florence Grace Balls to Anthony Balls and Annie Victoria Reid. She was the youngest of 5 siblings. Their names are Ernest Anthony, Ursilla Annie, Ethel May, Alice Elizabeth, and Ellen Katherine Doris. Florence spent her days at a young age with Queen Elizabeth and her children. In her 20s she worked in Uxbridge, London as a nanny from 1944-1949. A couple years later in 1954 she moved back to Dersingham. She worked on planes for the Air-force in England. Between 1957-1959 she managed to meet the love of her life and moved to Riverside, Ca in 1960. This is where Florence became known as Peggy. She was able to manage an apartment and work as a Home Care Provider. Two years later Peggy got her high school diploma and got certified to work as a teacher’s aide at Madison, Jefferson and 12 years at Jackson Elementary School before retiring in 1977. Years later our two families intertwined and have been inseparable since then.
Our family is devastated at her passing but we know that she has moved on to a better place. She is very smart and nurturing, and has filled our lives with an abundance of love, happiness and witty remarks.
