Eloisa Garcia Rubi

Eloisa G. Rubi, age 85, of Riverside, California, passed away surrounded by loved ones at her home on March 18, 2019. She was born January 11, 1934 in Barstow, Texas, to Jesus and Francisca Garcia who preceded her in death. In February 8, 1953 She married the love of her life, Alfredo Rubi who preceded her in Death in June 29, 2016. In the mid-60s the couple left Texas and settled in Riverside, California where they raised their children; Elva, Angelita, Alfredo, Anita and Alfonso.

Eloisa was devoted to her family and loved family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed Bingo, the casino, Tex-Mex music and dancing with her grandchildren. She also loved her cigarettes, coffee, Dr. Pepper, pecan pie and spicy hot chili.

Eloisa is survived by her children, adopted children, all her grandchildren and two siblings.

Viewing will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92504. Church service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 2859 9th St., Riverside, CA 92507. Burial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 4414 14th St., Riverside, CA 92501. A family reception dinner at Habanero Mexican Grill from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. will conclude the services, 2472 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92507.
