Elijah lived as the epitome of love described in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. Elijah was a patient, kind loving person who was not prideful or looking for accolades. He was a genuine caring and humble human being who had a heart for others. As a friend, he was always ready to listen and be at your side. As a brother he was an example and always cared for putting his siblings as a priority over himself. As a son he was the most obedient and fun-loving child full of love who was always ready to work hard to please Mom and Dad. He was our perfect son, and we could not ask anything more from a son than Elijah. His parents, Neneveh and Daniel, along with his siblings Toby, Caleb, Aaron, and Athena, survive him.
Elijah proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from October 2022 to May 2024. As a Marine, he exemplified dedication and honor in his service to his country.
A career Marine, Elijah was determined to succeed with his military duties with unwavering commitment. He was a true patriot who served with pride and distinction.
In his free time, Elijah enjoyed playing and customizing Dungeons and Dragons games, as well as writing short stories filled with imaginative worlds and characters with his brothers and friends. He would organize and work with his friends to make customized games.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Elijah's life will be held at Crosswinds Church in Moreno Valley. Acheson and Graham Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
Elijah-James Alfredo Valdes will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his legacy of love and service live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his presence.
