Dorothy Fay Stowers Denson, 86 of Corona, CA. is preceded in death by her parents A.T. and Mattie Lou Stowers, 17 brothers and sisters, and son, Ronnie Reed Denson. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Rev. Rex Denson of Corona CA., two daughters, Diane (Ed) Loo of St. Maries, ID. and Glinda (Jonathan) Reynolds of Corona, CA., five grandchildren Harold Nickles of Paris, IL., Christopher (Amy) Loo of Eastville, CA., Daniel Loo of St. Maries, ID., Shawnacee Reynolds of Corona, CA., and Ryon Reynolds of Corona, CA., and 2 great grandchildren Tommy Loo and Katie Loo of Eastville, CA..
Dorothy was born August 3, 1930 in Memphis, TX.. She spent her childhood in Friona, TX., where she also eventually met and married her husband, Rev. Rex Denson, upon his return from serving in the Army during WWII. They married on May 7, 1948. They built a life together working side by side as butchers in the beginning and then in the late 1950's they answered a call to the ministry. Dorothy dedicated the remainder of her life as an UPC pastor's wife in Corona, CA..
She loved gardening especially tending to her roses, shopping, and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren. Dorothy lived a full and rewarding life filled with love, laughter, and joy. With her family by her side the Lord called her home on January 10, 2017 at 2:38 am.
