Donald Jay McGugin passed away at the young age of 43 at Riverside Community Hospital on July 19, 2023, with his wife Crystal Halatsis-McGugin, his Father-in-Law, Ronald Elliott, and his Mother-in-Law, Linda Elliott at his side. He is survived by his wife Crystal of 15 years and their two children, Brooke and Ryder. His favorite hobbies were gardening, fishing, boating, off-roading, and camping with his wife and children. He loved to learn how to repair things and had a brilliant engineering mind. While he was born in Utah, his home and heart lived in Corona, CA where he had lifelong friends. It was in Corona that he met the love of his life, Crystal, and where they made a home for their two amazing children. Don was a wonderful husband and an amazing father to his children. His fatherly nature also extended to the neighborhood children, who referred to him as "Daddy Don". He will be deeply missed. His memory will live on in the minds and hearts of his wife, Crystal, and their children, Brooke and Ryder, his friends, and extended family. Don will be rooted in our memory forever and always.
