Dolores Jean Miller was born on February 9, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI. She was the second child of Clarence & Hazel Schulz. She entered heaven on Sunday, February 25, 2024 to join the Lord and the rest of her family; Mother, Father, Brothers Duane & Glen, Sister Gwen. She was baptized Feb. 18, 1934 and raised in the Lutheran Church. On Sept 9, 2012 she was re-baptized @ Mag Ave Church in Riverside, CA. and a member of the church. She attended public schools in Saginaw Mi. and graduated from Saginaw High School in 1952.
Dolores was married twice. First marriage giving her a daughter Bonnie Jean. Several years later March 25, 1967, she married Erwin C. Miller (passed away in 2006) and added his son Robert Miller and daughter Connie Miller to her family.
Dolores started working for Prudential Ins Co. of America in 1965. Working for them in Michigan and California for 24 years and receiving many awards and certificates on her outstanding versatility in the office. After having a heart-attack she retired in 1989.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Michigan where she participated in many activities quilting, choir, Bible Classes. She enjoyed traveling around the U.S. visiting many National Parks, Niagara Falls and even a Cruise to the Mexican Riviera in 2018. She also enjoyed Puzzles, Board games, Pinochle, drawing and reading.
Left to cherish her memories are three children and their spouses: Robert & Kathy Miller of Midland, Michigan; Connie Miller of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Richard & Bonnie Bernreuter of Riverside, Ca; three grandchildren: Jason Bernreuter of Texas; Heather Belka of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Aaron & Amber Bernreuter of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nine great grandchildren: River Bernreuter (passed away 02.02.24) of California; Cody & Stephanie Bernreuter of California; Eustass (Alayna) Vanhorn and James Vanhorn of Michigan; Sky Belka of Michigan; Allen, Audra, Anora and Alina Bernreuter of Oklahoma; and four great great-grandchildren: Jayla and Leo Roger Bernreuter of California; Peyton and James Vanhorn of Michigan; one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Following Celebration of Life @ Magnolia Ave Church. Per Mother's request we will be taking her sometime this summer 2024, to Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, Michigan for her final resting place.
