Diane was always a happy and generous person. A wonderful wife, mother and friend. She will be missed. Prayers for Amanda and the rest of her family.

You will forever be in our hearts Diane! We knew this day would come but regardless, one is never quite prepared. You are truly missed! I will always remember you as having a heart of gold- sweet, shy, reserved but those ladies nights we could be silly and fun! I appreciate your friendship, your crafty help with flowers for my wedding, my moms and sisters too! Our seasonal Tamale making days won't be the same without you! And On That note neither will ladies night out, but you'll definitely be there in spirit. Love and miss you!

I am so sorry to hear about Diane. My heart aches for all of you to have this ugly beast take your sister. I was a classmate of Diane's and I have very fond memories of her. The fondest of them all.... When we went to Hawaii together during those minicourses our Senior year at Notre Dame. Her laugh was absolutely contagious and she was so funny. I don't think I ever laughed so much in that week. She was the life of the group. I remember it as if it were yesterday. We also played volleyball together. So much fun. I also was a Scout leader in the same council. I enjoyed sharing those same funny times with her. Please know that I will be praying for you. I lost my brother, Mike, when he was 41 and my sister, Mary, at 46. My sister, Beth, is fighting for her life right now and I fought it. I hate cancer!!! Love and God Bless. Praying for all of you.

My Sister, My Friend; as one of her older sisters, I remember Diane as a darling child, happy, fun & sweet, she had cute little blonde curls & those Big Silver Blue Eyes, that watched curiously to see what was going on around her; she was Sensitive & Kind sharing with others at a young age.
Diane and I grew older and wiser and we formed a "Special Bond" as Friends & Confidants.  
We enjoyed shopping, movies, swimming, ,Disneyland, going out dancing with her friends, we visited our brother "Tom Sebastian" at various clubs to hear his band play & Tom's witty humor on stage.  
Our family likes to do craft projects,  Diane asked me to help her make wedding bouquet flowers for her friends daughters wedding which was a lot of fun.  We did some family crafts together for holidays.  We shopped till we dropped, Sometimes Susie, Amanda and Danielle would come or our Mom "Doris"  on special occasionsWe went to Candle Parties, enjoyed lots of  Breakfasts , Lunches, and Dinners, sometimes Amanda and Luke would come, Oh!  Those Family Parties, Graduations;  Diane was one of Six Teachers in our family, she had a 4 year degree, a teaching credential, and Masters degree as did others in the family. 
Diane had special needs children, she would ask me to help her artfully create themed bulletin boards prior to school starting, which I enjoyed.  I remembered Diane saying:  how much she she loved teaching her kids, each w/special challenges; Diane was always so excited about going back to school to teach and help the children learn and expand individually.  Diane thought each child was very Special and Unique.

Oh Diane how i miss your smiling face so much  I'm happy you will be with Luke and your dad greeting you at the golden gates of paradise say hello to Luke & ur pop from us . I'm really gonna miss our girls nites out when I come to pick u up & I let u enjoy ur drinks & let loose u were always so cheerful & full of life made me laugh you were always there for me to talk to and you and Luke stood by me when I made my first communion & confirmation thank u for being my godparents  I will cherish all our memories together from girls nite to making tamales shopping movies and more I love you my friend and Nina forever in my heart

I will miss you!  Who else is going to watch Amanda and I choreograph Dances to Shania Twain songs?  You were always such a beautiful, caring person and I thank you so much for bringing my best friend into this world!  I love you! Give a big hug to TJ for me and enjoy your time with Luke! My Aunt Diane took me Christmas shopping when I was about 8 years old and helped me figure out how to buy gifts for everyone with something like $5.00 in my pocket. I remember I was trying to buy a toy for my mom or dad, and she explained to me that I wasn't supposed to be giving gifts to people just so that I could play with them later. By the time I was leaving for college, Aunt Diane stopped by with a trunk load of items I didn't even know I needed as I ventured off to live in the dorms. She gave me my first real job and taught me how to run an office. She taught me how to take care of business and insist on a good interest rate when buying a car. She loved my children. She was also a mother and a teacher.  I enjoyed sharing teaching stories with her and the other women in our family.  You could tell she loved her students. It is of no surprise that so many people loved her like I did. I love the fact that even though she had taken ill, she went out fighting for each last breath with her toes done! She was an amazing woman, and she is greatly loved and missed.

Diane was a  dedicated special education teacher who will be greatly missed. She made a difference in the lives of countless students. On behalf of the RUSD Special Education Department, I want to wish our condolences to the family.

Diane you have gone to join Luke and we though sad know that we will one day be reunited. Though missed we are happy for the times we did have and share on countless visits to California. The tough fight is over enjoy you eternal reward in Heaven. Rest in Peace. All our Love Marie and Family

Dear Diane, I told Amanda the other day that my favorite memory of you was when we were doing Girl Scouts together and we took our trip to Arrowhead and stayed at that cabin.  You were sitting around the kitchen table working on a project and singing at the top of your lungs to the Shania Twain music that was playing..... You enjoyed life thoroughly! Even though we didn't see much of each other these last few years I have thought of you often and missed our friendship. Enjoy Heaven and being with Luke. Tell TJ hi and I love and miss him and we will meet again one day my friend. Love, Chris
