I’m so sorry to hear of Dena’s passing.
She was always to nice to us cousins, Jackie, Sylvia and Angeline when we visited her and Wayne from up North.

Lil Dena, The cherished memories you allowed us to create and share  stretch over 30 years.  From Chris having to look UP to call you Lil Dena to the Norco Christmas (tractor if you ask Lucas) parade will always be a part of our family's history and memories.

Dena & Flirt      RIP   Andrea & Matt

We reached out to Dena and Wayne 14 months ago.  We had a hole in our heart when we lost our 14 year old Cairn terrier Chloe. They were kind enough to place their beautiful dog Cheyenne in our care and we have never been happier.  Not just because Cheyenne is a wonderful dog but because we made new great friends with Dena and Wayne.  We find ourselves once again with a hole in our hearts since Dena's passing.  She was an incredible, smart, straight forward women with a great sense of humor.  We are so glad to have known her.  We wish we had  more time with her.  Rest in peace you beautiful soul.

Picking out her wire-haired dachshund puppy in 2014. She had always wanted one and she got her wish with this little girl who she named “Flirt.” Flirt will surely miss her mom😢

I was so surprised and sorry to hear of Dena's recent passing.  I only knew her from Regional Cairn shows but it is always hard when someone who has the same passion as you do is gone.  Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dena, you have left us far too soon and left a huge hole in our lives. You may have been small in statue but large in presence. You are sorely  missed and will never be forgotten.

Aunt Dena always loved family and wanted to bring everyone together. We will remember all the fun memories we spent with her and her ability to host a great party 🎉

With the very shock and sadness of Dena passing its hurts to lose a lovely lady and kind person. I so enjoyed talking with her at dog shows when at the same show. My deepest condolences to Wayne and family for your loss. My God take care of Dena in heaven. 

Dena just loved the grizzly bears at the Grizzly & 
Wolf Discovery Center. She would come to visit them whenever she was passing through. Her favorite was Mama Bear and she would send pillows and dog beds for her to rest her head on. Wayne our hearts go out to you. We will give the bears extra treats in Dena's honor. Rest in peace Dena and give Mama a big hug.  With love from the staff at the GWDC.

It deeply saddens me to hear of the loss of Dena. She was a tuff contender and lovely person. Please accept my condolences and heart felt love for your loss

Dena was my dear cousin and loved by the family. We had lost touch over many years until one day at the Ventura Kennel Club Dog Shows. My mother was still with us and was at the shows. Suddenly - Dena approached me and asked are you Louis Krokover, the son of Judy and Mort Krokover. I said yes I am. Dena responded -- I am your cousin Dena on your mother's side. Is your mom here? I said that she will be here tomorrow. The next day she reconnected with my mom and they saw each other at every show until the passing of my mom.
That is how we reconnected and have stayed in touch through now -- all because of our love of the dog and the showing of them.

I will miss you, cousin. Rest in peace.
