Dawn Jean Black, age 62, of Norco, CA, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2024, after complications from emergency surgery. Born in San Diego, CA, Dawn was a beloved Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend.
Dawn was a veteran of the Air Force, where she learned aircraft maintenance and later worked as a jet engine mechanic.
Known for her many interests and hobbies such as gemology, gardening and cooking, Dawn lived a life of love, creativity, and passion. Dawn’s loving embrace and engaging spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dawn is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Greg Dove; her 5 children, Amanda, Aaron, Dakota, Anne and Aubrey; her 10 cherished grandchildren, her sisters Dara, Denean, and Dana and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ethel Ihrig.
