David enjoyed football, riding his motorcycle and being with family and friends. After watching the movie Green Beret, starring John Wayne, David was inspired to join and serve proudly in the United states Army.
David is survived by his sisters Sharon Yacobucci, Elizabeth Lampton, Mary Nixon, Pauline Nixon and Theresa Nixon; brothers, Phillip Nixon and Edward Nixon and friends.
A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 9:30 am followed by a Celebration of Mass Service both services will be held at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 3680 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, California 92506. Committal service will follow at 11:45 am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California 92518.
