Wow how time flys. Can’t believe 2 years have passed since our great loss of our employee Brian at Vista Paint.  We miss you Brian. Always praying for comfort & healing for Jeannine & Paola, friends & family. 

Remembering that wonderful smile and that wonderful laugh.

I met Brian in 1980 when we both attended Sierra Middle School. He was part of my small group, of life long friends who hung out together . We moved on to High School at Ramona, where Brian became my first boyfriend.  We went to Disney together, pool parties, roller skating, high school plays.  I used to write stories, he would read them and laugh!  Brian was my innocent first love, my first kiss and the first hand I ever held. My family moved away and we lost touch.
I will never forget you Brian, your beautiful smile and your kindness! I will always be grateful for the sweet innocent time of life we shared.
My heart goes out to his wife, daughter, Mom and sister!!

I met Brian when  I was  working at Riverside Kaiser Hospital in the painting department, about 27 years ago.  He was  very knowledgeable about his work & very helpful  and a big asset to Kaiser.  Even after I retired I could call on him  for any questions  about  paint that I was considering using on my projects. He will truly be missed.  Such a loss to all of us. My prayers and thoughts go to all his family. Rest In Peace, Brian.   Cleyon Loonsfoot

I always thought of Brian as a friend. 
When I stopped by their home it was always on my way home. That way I could always enjoy a glass of wine after our business meeting was completed.

My memory of Brian started out about 40 years ago when Brian's mom and I began working together and became lifelong friends.  Of course we talked about out children and then began to get together as friends do.  Over the later years I didn't see Brian as often but whenever I did there was always that winning smile accompanied by a hug.  I hope fond memories will surround each of Brian's family members and friends.  I plan to remember Brian with that smile and a hug.  Take time to hug a loved one or a friend in Brian's memory.

I worked with Brian at Vista Paint for almost 9 years. From the time I started as a manager of the SB store to the day I left he was always there to encourage and help me. We would often have conversations about family. Brian was always quick to share how proud he was to be the husband of Jeannine and father of Paola. I considered Brian to be a great friend and he will be missed. My prayers go out to the family at this time. 

Goodbye childhood friend.  We were the best of buddies at Mountain View Elementary and unfortunately went to different middle and high schools.  I have great memories of playing pool and swimming in your backyard pool when our families got together.  Looking forward to someday understanding why this was your time.  You are missed.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Sabel family! I had the pleasure to meet Brian in 2005 coming over from Kelly Moore. Although, we weren’t always around at work, Brian always was there to help me with questions, concerns, and how to even approach certain situations. A couple weeks ago (Graco Event) I was anxious if I was going to meet our expectations and sell any equipment, well, there was Brian being Brian saying,“ Don’t bother your customers if they show, they show. Don’t worry what the boss wants”. Brian always kept it cool, calm & collective! He was truly a professional! The few times Brian & I would come across in meetings, or just run into each other passing by from one store to another, Brian always stoped and greeted me with “Hello” & “How’s the faimily doing”. Brian, you will be surely missed and may you Rest In Peace, my friend! 

I had the honor of knowing Brian for 17 years we didn’t see each other often because we worked in different areas.   When we did connect he was an outstanding person with great knowledge  it’s so hard to believe that he’s gone. We had a lengthy conversation about a job in my territory and had some laughs together.   He will be greatly missed by many of us, many prayers to all of his Family and dear friends.





Brian was a true joy to work with. For the short 7 years I have worked with him, I have seen what a kind and caring man he is.  One of the classiest gentlemen I have ever met.  The corporate office will forever feel a huge void not seeing him walk around with his happy smile and warm personality. 

Brian was a great friend. But I was also lucky enough to consider him a mentor, as he always demonstrated and commanded excellence in all he did. I could always count on a phone call from him in the middle of a busy day to discuss family weekend plans, or good food and wine options, which always offered perspective in the middle of the craziness at work.  I joked with him when he called me for advice on whiskey (a new interest and hobby for him), as HE was always the person WE ran to for advice. I knew I had to soak it in, because it was only a matter of days before Brian would learn himself more than I'd ever know about whiskey. In no time, he would inevitably become an expert in that, as well. I will always remember the perspective Brian had, and tried to pass on to me. He always gave 100% effort at work, but at the end of the day, his family was his top priority. We love and miss you B. And we will keep an eye on Jeannine and Paola until we all see you again. Love you, brother.

I have worked with Brian and became good friends with him. He was the man I looked up to. Humble and a genius in his work. He went out is his way for me countless times and was wealth of knowledge. I leaned so much from him over the years. He was the kindest person and irreplaceable. I miss him very much. 

I have known Brian for over 20 years. We worked together . He was always kind, and funny. He will surely be missed.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I post this. I’ve know Brian for 25 years. We worked together. We rode together. We went to Ireland with his wife and daughter to ride a bike tour. Brian is one hell of a good man. He will be missed by everyone who he touched. My heart goes out to the family. I will miss you. Especially when you drop me on the climbs.
