Alton and Elizabeth Henderson. She peacefully passed away on August the 6th 2021 at the age
of 80.
She was raised in Riverside California The only daughter of Alton and Elizabeth. She has three
half siblings Alinda Henderson, Alton Henderson, and Mary Henderson, and a step sister Sharon.
She had two kids, Eddie White and Eishale Pierson. Three grandkids, Melissa, Brett, and Marie.
Six great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and
cousins.
Betty throughout her adulthood loved to spend time with family as well as play cards and go to
clubs just to dance and have fun. She was dedicated to becoming a RN So that way she was able
to take care of her parents when the time came.
She always gave off that energy of a loving and caring energy of a sister, best friend, cousin, but
most importantly of being a mother. Everybody looked up to her and shared great memories with
her. She was loved and respected by many and was always there for inspiration.
Betty had a lot of talents. As a little girl she was taught how to play the piano, she loved to
dance, she played Scrabble with her cousins, as well as card games with her daughter. She had a
love for poker. She also loved spending time with her beloved partner and best friend for over 50
years Lee Kerr.
Betty took great pride in her babysitting duties of her Great grandkids as well as volunteering for
her daughter's school in which she won awards. She worked at rift as well as volunteering for the
students to take their photos for the school year.
Even though she was very out-spoken, she always made her point clear and made people realize
how strong of a woman she was. She reminded those she will always love and care for those who
impacted her life.
Betty has now gone to join God in his kingdom to which she has faithfully served. May she rest
in peace. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.
