Hello Andrea's Familia,

My name is Jesus Vargas. I met Andrea thru COMTO in Boston before she graduated. She worked for my company, VSCE in Oakland before she joined Alameda CTC. I wanted to share how much she did to help me, my firm and our clients. I would like to make a donation in her name to a local San Bernardino/Riverside non-profit. 

I will be working occasionally in the Inland Empire area and would like to meet in person to share my grief, give you my pesame, and celebrate her life this Navidad.

Lastly, I am planning to launch a non-profit to help the at-risk youth giving them alternative pathways and career support, with an initial focus of the San Bernardino area.

This was on May 19th 2022. Andrea was so kind and giving in general but I felt her kindness extra this day because she had an extra ticket to a snow the product concert and never once asked for anything in return even refused it. We both loved the artist so much,we had so much fun . The same artist come through town a few weeks ago and I was going to text her to see if she was also going and then I heard the news. She was a warm light to all the people she loved and cared for.

Thank you for your kindness and beautiful smile. We loved having you as our neighbor and friend. We’ll miss running into you in the hallways and chatting, and the sweet way you interacted with our little boy Mateo, who will always know you as “La Vecina”. Thank you for having shared incredible meals with us, your encouragement and kind words. I can’t express how much my family will miss your bright light. Rest in peace, Andrea.

I saw her last on  New Years and I never thought I would never see her again. She was the sweetest, kindest person. You’re in my head every day cousin. You were such a light that I will never forget, and I will honor your memory the best way I know how.

Andrea worked so hard to put together her moms 60th party and made sure all of her friends could attend. Thankful she included us.
