Adrian R Ortega

Adrian was born August 28, 1941, he graduated from Calexico High School and continued on to serve with distinction in the United states military having been stationed in Korean. He then returned to graduate from University California San Diego with a degree in business administration.

Adrian was married to Josefina Chavez and they were married for over 30 years till the passing of his late wife Josefina in 2008.

Adrian worked as a regional manager at the California Department of Motor Vehicles for more than 25 years. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico, watching classic movies, hosting parties and spending time with his friends and family. He was also actively involved in supporting his Daughters Beatriz and Queen Victoria in all their aspirations. With his daughters alwys remarking on how wonderful a father he was.

Adrian is survived by his two children, Beatriz Ortega-Mejia and Queen Victoria Ortega: his 4 grand children, Adrian, George, Luis and Nadia; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

Adrian is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Francisca Ortega; as well as his wife, Josefina Ortega.
