She received her professional title of LPN from Baptist Hospital Nursing School and two years later she received her Associate degree in Nursing from Hinds Jr. College, Raymond, MS. She loved working at UMMC in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for over 11 years.
She was a lifelong member of Madison Methodist Church and was involved in many activities, including teaching Children’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Madison Methodist Women’s group.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Vergie Lancaster and her brothers and sisters and their spouses.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Howard R. Harry, daughters, Debbie Cannon (Lamar), Renee’ Middleton (Steve) and Sydney Searcy (William) and her grandsons, Nathan Devine, Steven Caleb Middleton (fiancée, Laura Elizabeth), Aaron Searcy and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Faith Kennedy and the Strong River Villa staff in Mendenhall, MS for their excellent care, love and devotion shown during her time with them and Legacy Hospice for the compassion shown to our loved one in her final days.
A graveside service for Wilma will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
