Thomas was born June 5, 1930, in Nashville Tennessee to Wade B. Jordan and Lois Harvey who preceded him in death. Also, preceded in death was brother Wade, Robert, and sister Blondell Eubanks, daughter Cathy Sue Jordan and granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Jordan.
Thomas is survived by his wife Geneva M. Jordan, son Thomas S. Jordan spouse Kim, daughters Debra Basone spouse Dean and Kay Smith spouse Alan. Grandchildren: Aaron Hannah, Megan Hannah, Matt Jordan, Samantha Jordan, Morgan Whaley, and Jordan Basone. Great Grandchildren: Colt P. Hannah, Elliott J. Hannah, J.W. Whaley, Charlie Basone, Lilly Basone and Anna Reeves Jordan.
Thomas was the youngest of four children Wade, Robert, and Blondell Eubanks. He attended Humm Fog High school where he played football. After high school he proudly served in the Navy as a Tail Gunner He rode in the back of a military aircraft defending an attack from the rear of the plane. He worked and retired after 32 years from Western Auto as a manager. After the Navy he met Geneva Evans; they were married after a year of dating. They have been happily married sixty-seven years. In his retirement, he successfully became an entrepreneur. He managed over ten rental properties caring for all the maintenance and upkeep. He was a devoted Christian and loved the lord and this shined through him every day. He was a long-time church member of Morrison Heights, Broadmoor, and First Baptist Jackson.
Thomas was a wonderful father and grandfather. He always made everyone laugh with his witty jokes and sense of humor. His laughter and smile were so infectious it was joy to be with him. He leaves a legacy of wisdom and joy; heaven truly has an Angel.
