Sarah Young Jones, 63, died Friday April 12, 2013, with her family by her side. A Memorial service will be held 11:00am Monday at the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00am.
Mrs. Jones was a legal secretary with the Law firm of Watkins & Eager PLLC. Sarah loved her job, gardening with her loving husband Tommy, and spending time reading stories and playing with her grandson, Philip. Most of all, her greatest joy in life was taking care of others and spending time with her family, all of who loved her dearly.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Thomas D. Jones of Brandon, MS, daughter, Emily Rhodes of Birmingham, AL, son, Samuel Jones of Jackson, MS and grandson, Philip Rhodes. Her father, Walter Young, mother, Emily Young, brother, David Young and sister, Susan Clements also survive.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
