Robert Aldridge Lester Sr.

Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Bob was born in Memphis, TN on May 19, 1950 to Marguerite Aldridge

and William Carey Lester. A graduate of Murrah High School

class of 1968, he continued his education attending Ole Miss, where

he majored in business and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

He began his career as a sales representative and later a

finance manager. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and

grandchildren, hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a devoted Ole Miss fan.

He was a loving husband, devoted father and a beloved grandfather

(Poppy) and brother. Survivors Include his wife Cheryl; sons, Rob (Sheryl),

Adam , Ashley (Sarah) daughter Kelly Lester; grandchildren, Christian,

Brooklyn, Hayden, Noah, Peyton Lester and Denon Wilder; brothers Bill

and John Lester as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation is Schedule for 5-7pm Wednesday August 12, 2015 at St Francis

of Assisi Catholic Church, Madison, MS. A wake service will be held at 7pm.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am Thursday August 13, 2015 at

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Madison, MS., with a visitation one hour prior.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Lester’s

memory to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
