March 30, 2016, at Hospice Ministries, Inc. in Ridgeland, MS. Oma was born
February 28, 1920, in Biloxi, MS. She married Sid Cruthirds in 1941. They
traveled extensively during his 30 years of service in the United
States Coast Guard and upon retirement returned to Latimer Community in Jackson County, MS.
Oma is preceded in death by her husband, Sid, and daughter, Fay. She is
survived by her sister, Helen; her daughters, Nell and Beth; seven grandchildren;
and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Monday, April 4, 2016, at 1:30 pm at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
