Dominic Hospital with her family members by her side. She was born on February 24, 1953 in
Yazoo City of Alice Cary and Francis Marion Dongieux. The family moved to the Woodlea area
in Jackson in 1965, and she attended Callaway High School. Mary married Danny Randall on
June 16, 1984, and they experienced a joyful and loving union.
Mary Alice was characterized as a very loving and dear friend to all. and established
relationships with all her friends and family that will live forever in their memories. She
possessed a deep sense of grace, gentility and dedication that was clearly inherited from her
mother. Her sweet kindness endeared her to all that met her. She was called to The Lord after a
seven year battle with cancer.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Francis Marion Dongieux, Jr. of Mt.
Holly, Virginia; brothers-in-law Randy Randall, Billy VanDcvender, Chuck Evans, and Devard
Vance; sisters-in-law Karen Randall, Peggi Dongieux, Helen Moore, Elsie VanDevender, Beverly Vance and
Shirley Evans. Nieces Candice and Carla Randall. Rhiannon Johnson, Traci and Rachel Evans,
Carol Carmean, Leighan Crane, Alisha Jeter, Mandy Robinson. Sandy Klauder, Madeline
Johnson and Melissa Dongieux Gross. Nephews Dennis, Michael Randall, and Nicholas Randall, Marshall,
Brandon, and James VanDevender, Evan Johnson, Trey Evans, Bobby, Matthew, and Robbie
Rutland, Bruce and Brett Randall, John and David Adams, Lee and Glen Evans and David
Dongieux, along with a host of very special and close friends whom Mary Alice dearly loved,
including Lillian Butcher and Melissa Howle.
