On Sunday, August 11, 2024 Margaret Louise Holder a beloved wife and mother, passed away. She was eighty-four. She was raised in Hazlehurst, MS as a daughter of LA and Helga Beasley. Margaret received an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked as an RT Technician for 5 years. In 1978 she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from University of MS in Medical Records Administration. After which, she went to work for UMC in the Medical Records Department. In addition to working at UMC she also taught medical records administration at Hinds Community College. She retired from UMC in 2000 as Associate Director of Medical Records. Margaret was married to Ray Holder,JR in August of 1973. They were together nearly 51 years.
She is survived by her husband Ray, Sister Loretta Buckley, two daughters, Libbie Windley, Susan Woods and one son Michael Bass. She also had six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
There will be no memorial service or funeral. In lieu of flowers , the family ask that those who are able instead make a donation to either Leland Family Ministries or Webster Animal Shelter.
