He was born on March 21, 1945, to Clarence and Beatrice Morris in Greenville, MS. Larry married the love of his life Janiece Flanagan on June 9, 1969, in Leland, MS. They would have two sons, David and Prentiss Morris; and five grandchildren. Larry was a dentist in Jackson for 40 years. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and seeing his grandchildren grow up. He was also a Deacon for a number of years at his home church.
Larry is survived by his wife, Janiece Morris; sons David Morris (Holly) and Prentiss Morris (Laura) both of Canton, MS; his sisters Katy Ballard (Royce) of New Orleans, LA, and Martha Schatz of Spindale, NC; and five grandchildren Emily Morris, Presley Morris, Sophie Morris, Kathryn Morris, Sam Morris.
A visitation for Larry will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Old Town Wesley Church, 234 W Jackson St, Ridgeland, MS, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM, with entombment to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to Old Town Wesley Church.
