She is survived by her three children, Steve Scott, Andrew Scott and Barbara Scott, her dog, Hunter and five grandchildren, Paxton Scott, Todd Scott, Wright Scott, Trudy Taylor and Trey Massey. She has four great grandchildren, Vivian, Paxton, William Wright and Gloria Helen.
Joy lived with her daughter for the past 18 years. They loved cooking together and shared a love of flowers and gardening. Joy wants to thank those closest to her in recent years for loving her and being in her life, Steven, Drew and Barbara; Amy Scott, wife of Steve Scott; Beth Scott, wife of Drew Scott; her cousin Levonne Smith and friends Laura Phillips and Gay Anderson. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
There will be a graveside service at Lakewood Cemetery on Thursday May 19, 201 at 10:00AM. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Scott’s memory to Broadmeadow UMC.
