Joe died Friday May 27,2016 at his home. Joe was born in Jackson, MS on May 9, 1952. He went to St. Mary’s, St. Joseph and Provine High School where he graduated in 1971. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Elmease and his sister Jackie.
He is survived by his loving partner Emma Ashley, brothers Tommy (Betty), Billy, and his sister, Jerrie Gant (Randy), and nephew, Randy Gant Jr.
The funeral service will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS at 10:00am Wednesday June1,2016 with visitation Tuesday May 31,2016 from 5:00pm till 8:00pm and Wednesday from 9:00am till 10:00am. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery Jackson, MS.
