John (Jolly) Giebitz, 69, died December 20, 2015 at Miss Baptist Medical Center Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 23, 2015 from Holy Savior Catholic Church, Clinton, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday Dec. 22, 2015 at Parkway Funeral Home from 5:30pm till 7:00pm and Wednesday at Holy Savior from 10:00am till 11:00am. Entombment will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery, Ridgeland, MS.
Jolly was born Sept. 28, 1946 in Church Point, LA. He retired from Central Pipe Supply. He was a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Air Force, and a member of Holy Savior Catholic Church, Clinton, MS.
Survivors include his wife Gail Giebitz; two daughters Shawn G. Byars (Andy) & Tricia Smith (Houston); four grandchildren Hannah & Hunter Byars; Olivia & Briana Smith.; one brother Gene Lavergne; one sister Mona Venable (Jim).
