Tim was referred to as "Chairman of the Cheerful Committee" by his Dad, since he had such a passion for helping and working with people. He was very animated in his conversations with people and with God and loved to encourage and make people around him laugh. You always felt better after being with Tim.
Tim was a member of First Baptist Church Jackson where he served as a greeter and for more than 20 years could be seen on the front rows helping direct the music. He also served as a greeter and honorary member of Parkway Baptist Church, Clinton, for the past 5 years.
Tim was a long-time competitor in the Special Olympics as a bowler. He attended work at Willowood Developmental Center and Pure Joy Community in Clinton where he worked in a variety of areas. Tim was also an annual attendee at Camp Ruby and Camp Bratton-Green.
