Jean Fain Wright died Thursday August 4, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday followed by an 11:30 AM service in the chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Burial will be in the Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Jackson. She attended Central High School and Belhaven College. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a choir member when a member of Wesley Methodist Church and Madison Methodist Church. She was a member of the Auxiliary of Gideons International where she served as camp president two year. She was also a member of the Dean’s council, Indiana University.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband Joseph Warren Wright, Sr. having celebrated 66 years of marriage on July 5th. Also surviving is her son Joseph Warren Wright, Jr., daughter-in-law Synthia McCrory Wright and four grandchildren; Joseph Warren (Trey) Wright, III, William Cory Wright, Laura Beth Wright and Brittany Paige Wright; and her brother Richard Burford Fain. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Burford Fain, Jr. and Elise Ham Fain
