Jean Bond Moak

Jean was born in Hattiesburg on January 26, 1937, to Evelyn and Cloy “Goat” Bond. She attended Purvis High School and the Mississippi State College for Women… affectionately known as “The W”.

Jean married Wilson and together they had 3 children, Thomas, Kem, and Steven. She worked as an administrative assistant early in their marriage, a devout Housewife and stay at Home Mom and later as Wilson’s Office Manager. She and Wilson loved watching Mississippi State Football. They enjoyed watching all sports, mostly college but some professional sports also. Her favorite pastime was traveling the world with family and friends finding beautiful places to see and wonderful new foods to eat.

Jean is survived by her husband, Wilson Moak, her son Thomas Moak and his wife Alicia Moak, her daughter Kem Smith, her 2 grandchildren, Rob Moak and Kaleigh Smith. She was predeceased by her son Steven Moak.

Visitation for Jean Moak will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:00pm

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm following visitation, but will be for immediate Family only.
