Jean Maxwell "Mimi" Adcock, age 87, died September 17, 2013 at the Arbor in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be at 11:OO am Thursday September 19, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland, preceded by visitation at 10:00am.
Jean was born April 1, 1926 in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Adcock, her parents, Dr. & Mrs. Maurice Maxwell, son, David Adcock, and one sister. She is survived by her son, Michael Adcock (Betsy); brother, Cliff Maxwell; four grandchildren, Mia Allen, Sam Adcock, Adam Adcock, and Max Adcock; and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was a bridge lover and played in numerous clubs in Jackson. She and her beloved husband, Ernie, who were married for 69 years, were active in the MS Asphalt Pavement
Assoc., through his ownership of Adcock and Campbell, Inc. They had a passion for travel and were fortunate to see most of the world in their journeys.
