He was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on July 23, 1973 to Louise Malvezzi Maness and Stephen Dennison Maness. He attended Jackson Academy. He worked as a farmer and loved hunting, fishing, and dogs.
Jim is survived by his parents, Lulu Malvezzi Maness and Steve Dennison Maness; his sister, Denise Furr (Bill); one niece, Hartwell Furr; and two nephews, Wilson Furr and Prentiss Furr.
A visitation for James will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Home. A private family graveside will be held at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
