Ellen Elizabeth Anglin, 49, of Jackson, MS, went to be with the Lord, in Jackson, MS on July 4th, 2024. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on the 31st day of August 1974 to Elizabeth Fultz Anglin and Joe Van Anglin Jr.
Ellen graduated from Jackson Academy in 1992 and attended Mississippi State University. In high school, Ellen was a cheerleader at Jackson Academy and was also in many beauty pageants throughout her school years. Ellen also pursued a career at Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, California after attending MSU. She was licensed in cosmetology and esthetician in the state of Mississippi and continued her career in beauty over her years of life. Ellen enjoyed satisfying customers and thrived in a social setting. Over the past few years, she continued her education in affiliating marketing online.
Ellen Anglin was a beautiful soul, that touched everyone who knew her. She had a contagious smile that would bring warmth to everyone who came in contact with her. Ellen’s heart was very big, and she considered everyone she met a friend. She was a very spiritual woman, and always taught her children to love Christ through the good and bad. At just a few months old, Ellen was baptized at Briarwood Methodist Church, in Jackson, Mississippi. One of her favorite verses in the Bible was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me;’’ Philippians 4:13. She was a strong follower of Christ throughout her years of life. She never gave up and always kept pushing through many struggles and battles. Spiritually, Ellen considered the number ‘777’ as her “angel number’’, and butterflies were her spirits. Ellen loved her children, and grandchildren with everything she had, and had given the names of Love and Faith.
Ellen Anglin is survived by her two daughters, Presley Love Russell, age 19, and Meadow Faith Irwin, age 14. Grandchildren; Kayley Love England, age 2, and Mayzee Faith England, age 1. Father; Joe Van Anglin, Jr. Brother; Joe Van Anglin lll, and his son; Brody Anglin. Ellen was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Ann Fultz Anglin who passed in 2019. She will also be missed by her extended family members of the Anglins’ and The Millers.
“Love is like a butterfly: It goes where it pleases, and it pleases wherever it goes.” A butterfly will always remind us of Ellen; there is always beauty at the end of all the pain.
