Carolyn Jean Savell, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, just one day shy of her 79th birthday. Born on April 8, 1946, Carolyn lived a full and meaningful life, touched by love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her loving and steadfast husband of 59 years, Bernard Savell. Together, they built a life full of memories and shared experiences. Carolyn is also survived by her sons, Chris Savell (Tammy) and Craig Savell (Natalie), as well as her cherished grandsons, Dalton Savell (Courtney), Logan Savell, Kyle Savell, and Austin Savell, all of Madison, MS. Her family was her pride and joy, and she took great joy in being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Carolyn’s devoted caretakers, Faye and Denise, whose support and care were invaluable during her later years.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM, also at Parkway Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery, 759 US-51, Madison, Mississippi 39110.
Serving as pallbearers are Craig Savell, Chris Savell, Dalton Savell, Logan Savell, Kyle Savell, and Austin Savell.
