Carol Bailey Tate of Brandon, Mississippi passed away at the age of 90 on Saturday. Mrs. Tate was originally from Tylertown, Mississippi. Upon graduating from Mississippi College, she married Thomas Tate, Jr., and resided in Jackson where she was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church and book keeper at Jackson Preparatory School. After retirement, she moved to Brandon, Mississippi where she was a member at First Baptist Church Brandon. Mrs. Tate is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tate, and is survived by her daughter June Poole of Brandon (Larry) and Edward Tate of Atlanta, Georgia (Nancy). She is also survived by four grandchildren: Bailey Poole, Beth Tate, Sam Tate, and Beau Martin. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Brandon.
