Bobby Ross Davis

Bobby served his country with honor in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and was a proud Vietnam veteran. A man of vibrant personality, Bobby was the quintessential life of the party, known for his quick wit and boundless energy. He had a deep love for dogs, often taking in strays and treating his own dogs, George, Brown Dog and Louie like royalty. An avid turkey hunter, Bobby spent many joyful hours in the great outdoors.

Bobby was a devoted father and a proud grandfather, leaving behind a loving family that includes his daughters, Michelle Grad and Susan Provorse; sons-in-law, Lance Grad and Brian Provorse; grandchildren, Hunter Grad (Erica), Lucas Grad, Sawyer Grad, Shelby Provorse, Laney Provorse, Addison Provorse, and Jackson Provorse; sisters, Penny Gibson and Linda Davis Sisson; and brothers, Sammy and James Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucy Davis, and brothers, William and Michael Davis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Bobby's compassionate spirit and love for animals.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Home & Parkway Memorial Cemetery, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157.
