William Thomas Proffitt, Sr.

PROFFITT, William Thomas, Sr., of Henrico, Va., died August 18, 2018, at age 94. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Haynes Proffitt. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Proffitt Hargan (Keith); his son, William Thomas Proffitt Jr.; and his grandson, Christopher William Hargan. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 24, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
