William "Bear" Edward Jones "Bear"

JONES, William Edward (Bear), of Henrico, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on October 23rd, 2013. He was 77. Bear, as he was known to many, grew up in the Virginia Methodist Children’s Home and was a graduate of the 1956 Class of John Marshall High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Virginia Air National Guard. He was a member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church where he sang In the Choir for many years. Bear was employed for many years at

Westwood/Westbury Pharmacies. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Emma Jean; 2 daughters, Kimberly Rosenfeld (Jeff), Kelli Clough (David); 3 grandchildren; Zachary, Noah and Sarah; 1 brother, Joseph M. Haddon (Ann); 1 sister, Julia E. Harvell (Jim); several nieces and nephews. Bear was an avid Redskin, UNC Tarheel, and Yankee fan. HTTR! The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27th, 2013 at The Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 28th, 2013 at Grove Avenue Baptist Church, 8701 Ridge Road.
