William Nathan "Hoppy" Hopkins

Hopkins, William Nathan “Hoppy,” 87, of Glen Allen died Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Veranda Hopkins; a brother, Charles Hopkins; and a nephew, Wayne Hopkins. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Maxine Hopkins; a daughter, Cathy Johnson (John); a son, David Hopkins (Danita); grandchildren, Shanna Winfree (Stephen), Wesley, Amy and Travis Hopkins, and Caitlin Eagles; two great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Savanna Winfree; also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where a funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday.
