Virginia S. Chockley, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, after 94 wonderful years of life. She was born in Richmond, Virginia and spent most of her life with her husband and famiy in the Norfolk, Va., area. She lilved in Huntsville for the past eight years. She made many friends, and loved the mountains. She was involved with Eastern Star for 55 years. Virginia was a devoted wife to the late Julian Chockley for 64 years, and was a loving mother, raising four children, Barbara, Hunter, Kay and Mike. She was very active with her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. "Dearest Mom will now join her true love in life--Julian".
