Tina Louise Howard

Tina Louise Clark Howard, 56, of Highland Springs, VA departed this life on January 26th, 2017 after an extended illness. She found her passion early in life as a hairdresser and was a successful business owner of Styles by the Oscars Hair Salon. She was also an avid cat lover and devoted her life caring for them. They gave her many hours of happiness and joy. Tina was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Alvin C. and Berth Brown of Richlands, VA, and her father, M.C. Clark of Richmond, VA. Survivors include her husband, Robert G. Howard; mother, Anna Ruth Gilbert; sister, Rita Gilbert Boyer; and brother, Tom Gilbert, all of Kingsport TN. Tina is also survived by 6 nieces, 1 nephew, and 3 great-nephews. A memorial service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond on Tuesday, January 31st at 3:00 pm.
