BRANDON, Thomas R. Jr. 68, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on May 29, 2015. Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Brandon Sr. He was a firefighter for the City of Richmond for over 35 years, a member and treasurer of Dewitt-Rocky Run Ruitan Club, secretary and treasurer for Richmond Fire Fighters Association – Local 995, member of the International Assn. of Fire Fighters, and also a member of the Retired Fire Fighters. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Miller Brandon; children, Thomas R. Brandon III, Tracy B. (Ron) Doucette; grandchildren, Ronald Doucette Jr., Jason T. Doucette; great grandson, Jason Doucette, Jr.; mother, Mary Lois Brandon; siblings, Shirley (Neil) Wells, Melissa Baker, Virginia (Mark) Martin, Beth (Jon) Beegle, Steve (Tedi) Brandon, Tim Brandon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Richmond Burn Foundation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond.
