With special thanks to Ken and Candy Carter and David Carver for helping her laugh and smile on her final days of the fight. She loved you guys so much.
Teresa found her home in Sandston, Va. with her husband, John, for over 20 years. You could find them in the backyard around John’s fire pit, throwing horseshoes, or inside singing karaoke with her playing the spoons and dancing. She was one of a kind that was loved by everyone. Teresa enjoyed going to the beach or hanging on the rocks in the James River with her family. She had a wide collection of mushroom figures as she had the nickname “Mushroom T”. Teresa never missed the Hanover Tomato Festival and the State Fair, just to get that corn dog. She loved to laugh and be silly, but had a serious side with a deep heart.
Teresa is at peace now and reunited with her beloved John.
She was our Mama Bear, our mom, our Aunt T, our best friend and most importantly, she was the best Nannaw!
