Sylvia Jean Britt

Sylvia Jean Britt, 65 of Richmond, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She is survived by her husband Randy Britt of RIchmond;sisters Ellen Robbins (Rick) or Mechanicsville and Shelia Johnson (Robert) of Sandston; nephews Ricky, Justin, & Matthew Robbins and BRandon & Brian Johnson; many loving friends; and her beloved cat, Tweet. Sylvia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from the University of Richmond. She was a former employee of AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Qimonda, and most recently, Virginia Commonwealth University as Director of Support SErvices and Contract Management. She Sylvia enjoyed spending her free time in the Outer Banks with family and friends. A funeral service for Sylvia will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 1:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238.
