Suzanne Gault Morris

April 11, 1952 - April 4, 2025

Suzanne Gault Morris of Glen Allen born April 11, 1952 passed away on April 4, 2025 after a sudden brief illness. It was exactly one week before her birthday. We will be celebrating her life on her birthday. Her unexpected death has left her family shocked by it's fast appearance and it's rapid progression. She is survived by her two daughters, Kari Rochelle (Tommy), and Kathryn Morris (Ashley), her brother Lanny Gault (Terry Sue), her two grandchildren Taylor Rochelle and Willow Morris, and her ex husband Steve Morris. She was predeceased by her parents Ronald L. Gault and Gertrude Gault.

Suzanne graduated from Douglas Freeman HS, and Braxton Business School.

Even at the very end her sense of humor and feistiness were intact. Though barely able to communicate she made us laugh with her quick cracks and sarcasm. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. Whether it was Taylor's swim meets and soccer matches, or family cookouts, family trips to Myrtle Beach, these were the events that made her happy. Fortunately she was able to live to see the birth of her newest grandchild, Willow, born in November.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the St Mary's intensive care unit that insured her final days were as comfortable as possible. Their compassion and kindness were very special.

There will be a visitation at Woody's Funeral home at 1771 N. Parham Rd on April 10th, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Woody's Chapel on April 11th, at 2 p.m. There will be a reception to follow. Information will be in the bulletin.
