Stanley Lee White, Sr.

Stanley Lee White Sr., 74, of Varina, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Eustace White II; granddaughter, Brittany Leigh Brigman; and nephew, Jimmy Lee Caldwell. Stanley retired from Philip Morris as a Fixer and was a member of Hardy Central Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as gardening and searching for relics. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Carol (Powell) White; children, Rita Carol (White) Statton (Jody); Sherry Lynn (White) Goldback; Stanley “Lee” White Jr. (Emily); grandchildren, Rudy Lee Goldback, Aaron Mitchell White, Carissa Leigh White, Jackson Glenn Koch, Genevieve Olivia Koch; great-grandchildren, Rudy Lee Goldback Jr., Gavin James Goldback, Hunter Grayland Goldback, Bryleigh Grace Oxley; siblings, Janice Caldwell, Eustace “Bubba” White III; niece, Tammy Roth (David); brother-in-law, Ricky Powell (Judy); as well as a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
